Kraton Paddle tires

I use the Proline Slingshot 3.8 tires. I share the set on my Kraton and Nero for Snow/Sand duties.
Run on 6s as well.

Traxxas are now doing paddles as well..
Have a look on Tower Hobbies and A Main Hobbies...Part No TRA5672 for 3.8 size.

Oh yea, I forgot about the new Traxxas ones...and it made me remember about the Kyosho Foxx paddles.

do the paddles create a lot of heat ? seems like it might be a lot of stress on the electronics

Not really.
They are smaller in diameter than most 3.8 tires and don't balloon as much either.
Most of the stress would come from the extra grip on sand on a hot day. But I use mine mainly for snow so heat really isn't an issue.

I just put the Traxxas paddle tires on my Kraton and they are pretty awesome so far. I did have to cut out the nubs inside of the hex of the Traxxas paddle tires, but it was easy. Well worth it to me.

nice. what esc/motor combo are you using?

I'm using the Hobbywing Quicrun 150 (one of the few I know of that will run 5s) and a Leopard 4082 1600kv motor.
