Typhon trenchers

Trenchers finally showed up for my typhon, can't wait to try them out now
@Trillium trying to recall if you used Team associated hex adapters or Kraton parts. In any case, I've had mine stick before, think I heated them with a hot soldering iron and carefully tapped them out with a small hex driver and hammer. Could have gunk or thread locker jamming them up.

@Rich Duperbash I'm going to use the TA hex adapters if I can get the stock ones off but thanks for the advice, ill try heating first before tapping out, I knew it wouldnt be that easy lol.

@Rich Duperbash I haven't yet, they were just "bedding in" on the picture shown, still need to fix them in place, and install the wheels obviously. I'm not really sure which part of the tyre I need to tape yet either lol?! Did you ask for a reason?

@Trillium yes. I highly recommend you do one wrap of 2" Gorilla tape or equivalent on insides to prevent ballooning that would rub body when fronts are turned on power. Great tires, but Prolines can balloon big time if left untaped.

@Trillium pull up tire taping RC tires on YouTube, tons of good vids. You turn tire inside out and tape inside after cleaning/drying rubber, then flip tire back to normal position and insert foam. Best to watch vid, will make more sense. Definitely worth taping or you will balloon like frisbees on higher power.

Are these on the standard hexes or the TA ones ?? I have som TA ones coming in the mail as i plan on doing this with my typhon too. Im guessing the tyres/rims are same size as stock just wider ? Or are they a bit taller too ?
