What does 3s1p / 3s2p mean?

So am looking at CHNL battery's for bashing and have noticed 3s1p and 3s2p and wondering whats the difference?

It indicates the configuration of the cells in the battery pack. 3s1p = 3 series 1 parallel, 3s2p = 3 series 2 parallel. 3s1p is a battery that consists of three single cells. 3s2p is a battery that consists of 6 cells wired up in three pairs of two cells that are in parallel. Both are 3S packs. Hope this makes sense.

No, not really, they might be a little bigger than comparable single cells.

Assuming all other things are equal, yes. I only say this because I'm certain that there are 1p packs that will wipe the floor with some 2p packs.

True. But i believe he’s talking about CNHL batteries where 2p vs 1p is the only difference.

Either one. C-ratings are overstated, but get at 50C at minimum; you can’t have a too high C-rating.

The G+ line are the best ones CNHL makes, so I'd go with those. They're not the most expensive either so it's a win-win. A lot of speed runners use them and if a battery is good enough for speed running, then it's plenty good for bashing.

For bashing I'd stay with 1p, less things to go wrong but I wouldn't look that one if price and other specs are right. Truly a don't care.
